Welcome and general information

Welcome

On behalf of the Organising Committee and IHN, it is our great pleasure to invite you attend the 2026 International Haemovigilance Symposium. We look forward to seeing you in person from 18–20 March in Rome.

We anticipate an outstanding meeting, with participants from across the globe coming together to exchange experiences and fresh perspectives.

Our team is preparing an exciting programme featuring renowned invited speakers, leading subject matter experts, submitted abstracts, and engaging discussions on key topics in haemovigilance and transfusion safety. This symposium promises not only rich scientific content but also exceptional opportunities for networking. The historic and vibrant city of Rome will provide a memorable backdrop, ensuring that the experience extends well beyond the science.
