Statutes
The International Haemovigilance Network is a legal entity under Dutch law, and is based in Amsterdam, in The Netherlands.
Members consist of national operational haemovigilance systems and may be from any country and will be represented by an Official Contact Person (OCP), usually the lead person, or a nominee, from that haemovigilance system. Other interested persons from member countries may become individual members. Participants may also be persons who have expressed an interest but who are not from a member country.
The object of the network is the development and maintenance of a joint structure relating to the safety of blood and blood components and of haemovigilance in blood transfusion and transfusion medicine throughout the world.
Please contact the IHN Secretary if your country’s haemovigilance system wishes to become a member.
