Nominations for the IHN Award

The award is presented to a person or organization who/that has made an important scientific or clinical contribution to the advancement of haemovigilance.  The award consists of a certificate and a trophy.  It was originally established in 2010 after a generous gift from Prof. Dr. Erhard Seifried.  It is presented at biennial IHN Symposium when the awardee delivers a plenary presentation.

Nominations for the IHN Medal

The IHN Medal, established in 2011, is a specially cast medal (showing a lion as the symbol for vigilance) and is presented to a person who has made an extraordinary contribution to the work of IHN.
